RSRTC - Making your journey comfortable and convenient

In a bid to provide benefit to the citizens of Rajasthan state along with the other states, the Rajasthan State Road Transport was setup on 1st October, 1964 under the provisions of Road Transport Act 1950. Ever since the corporation was setup it has been facilitating the movement and transportation needs of the people across states. RSRTC aims at enhancing the passenger’s journey into a convenient and comfortable travel experience.

Over the decades RSRTC is continuously improving and working on providing better amenities to the public. From expanding routes to upgrading the bus services and range to providing free and concessional travel to a series of sections of the society including Press People, Freedom Fighters, Blind, Cancer Patients along with special relief offers for women.

RSRTC works to continuously improve the travelling facilities for all. Therefore the concessional schemes and reliefs were introduced so that maximum people can travel through RSRTC buses and avail minimum or no charges. The concessional schemes extends support to the regular commuters as well.

For express and ordinary services RSRTC provides concessional travel facility of 50% to the students and 40% to the general passengers pass holders who obtain this facility continuously for three month will get additional 5% rebate on pass amount and 10% for another three month period. Now passes can be get issued even in the middle of the month but only with the pass for subsequent months. RSRTC is also fully aware of its social responsibilities and therefore extends its support by providing  citizens free and concessional travel to a series of sections of the society including Press People, Freedom Fighters, Blind, Cancer Patients, Handicapped etc.

The concessions and improvements made by RSRTC aims at delivering efficient, adequate, safe and well co-ordinate passenger transport service to passengers from all walks of life and from different sections of the society.  

 With these goals, RSRTC has not only given services to notified paths for the convenience of the  public, but also during the COVID times, RSRTC helped lakhs of passengers stuck in different cities to reach to their homes. From bringing travelers from Railway Station, Airports to commuting the Corona patients to hospitals and home, every requirement was taken care for the public convenience and will strive to do better every time.
